Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) is calling for business owners in Stockport to contribute to its first Quarterly Economic Survey of 2021 to hear how Brexit and the current Covid-19 lockdown are affecting the borough.
The fieldwork for the survey is now open and businesses have until the 11th March to submit their contributions.
The Greater Manchester Quarterly Economic Survey is a survey conducted by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Completed by local businesses for local businesses, the survey takes businesses’ opinions and forms an accurate and up-to-date picture of the local economy and what it means for the businesses that exist within it.
Conducted by the Chamber’s Head of Research, Subrah Krishnan-Harihara, the survey is crucial to local organisations that interact with businesses so that they can understand the health of the Greater Manchester business community.
In 2020, the Quarterly Economic Survey, or QES, has aimed to understand how far Covid-19 business support measures, such as the furlough scheme, have affected businesses and if government support is going far enough.
This quarter, the Chamber wants to understand how Brexit has affected businesses and the long-term impact of a third national lockdown.
Fill in the Quarterly Economic survey online today and help raise the voice of business in Stockport at a local and national level. Survey responses are completely anonymous.
