Stockport and North West-law firm SAS Daniels LLP has announced a new partnership with Stockport Grammar School (SGS), focused on enhancing opportunities for pupils and the wider Stockport community across sport, careers, arts and enrichment.
As a firm with strong roots in Cheshire and Greater Manchester, SAS Daniels has a long-standing commitment to supporting the local communities in which its colleagues live and work. The collaboration with SGS reflects the firm’s belief in the importance of giving back and helping to create opportunities for young people to develop skills, confidence and future aspirations.
The partnership will extend across multiple areas of school life, including sport, arts and cultural activities, alongside initiatives connecting SGS pupils and local schools with the wider professional community. SAS Daniels will also support careers and employability initiatives, helping pupils gain insight into professional life and future pathways, with future ambitions to support wider alumni and community engagement activities.
As an initial focus of the partnership, SAS Daniels will support two community school sporting events hosted in partnership with SGS this summer; a local cricket tournament and a girls’ football tournament. The initiative aims to encourage participation, teamwork and enjoyment across local Stockport schools, with SAS Daniels also donating sports equipment and providing financial contributions to participating schools to support their ongoing sports provision.
