Growth is a key focus for Cheshire law firm Stratford Solicitors after securing a £150K refinance package from the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Established by Managing Partner Nick Stratford 2006, Stratford Solicitors is based in Poynton, Cheshire. It is a successfully run, client-focused law firm offering a varied range of legal services and has nine members of staff. Prior to setting up Stratford Solicitors, Nick worked for a large Manchester city centre practice.
The refinance facility provided by the bank will support Nick’s growth plans for the business which includes developing a new mediation service for clients. The deal also assists the firm’s day to day working capital needs and sees Stratford Solicitors move their day to day banking requirements across to the bank.
Nick Stratford, Managing Partner at Stratford Solicitors explains: “We have a long standing relationship with the bank and were looking to restructure our facilities to ensure we have a robust platform from which to grow. Earlier this year I qualified as a mediator which means I can mediate in all aspects of law excluding family law. This has added an additional service to our current legal offering and brought new opportunities for the firm.”
Iain Smith, Relationship Director at Royal Bank of Scotland added, “As a long-term supporter of the firm I understand the refinance facility that Nick was looking for and was able to tailor a package. Stratford Solicitors has a great reputation locally and we are delighted to work closely with Nick and the team to support their growth ambitions.”
