
The Supported Internship team at Stockport charity, Pure Innovations, has been shortlisted for ‘Team of the Year’ at the GM Skills Awards 2025.
The shortlisting is a shortlisted is a huge honour and a testament to the dedication and impact of the charity’s Supported Internship team.
Pure Innovations’ Supported Internship programme enables young people with learning disabilities, neurodiversities and mental health related problems to make the transition into paid employment and enhance key social skills. By providing real-life work experience and tailored employment support, the team empowers interns to build confidence, develop skills and gain meaningful paid employment, either with their host employer or in other related work with support from Pure.
To be recognised is a proud moment for everyone involved and a wonderful celebration of the achievements of Pure’s interns, job coaches, employer partners, and all those who work behind the scenes to make this programme a success.
Hosted by the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN) and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), the GM Skills Awards celebrate excellence across the further education and skills sector, shining a spotlight on the people, providers and partnerships making a real difference to learners’ lives.
The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 3rd July 2025.
