Stockport’s largest commercial landlord, Orbit Developments, has once again shown its belief in the town as a great place for business.
The latest initiative from Orbit Developments has brought together customers from their flagship Regent House office development to produce a video promoting the benefits of Stockport as a business location.
Over the past three years, Orbit Developments team including marketing manager Claire Stott and leasing surveyor Rhys Owen, have been working to support Stockport town centre’s businesses and sponsoring events such as Foodie Friday and the Old Town Fringe Festival, helping to create a more attractive town for employers, employees and visitors.
F1rst Commercial Recruitment, who moved to Regent House from their former offices in Manchester earlier this year, was keen to take part in the video produced by fellow Regent House occupant Bellyflop TV.
In the video F1rst Recruitment’s manager, Sharon Seville, explains why she chose Stockport over Manchester & what she likes about our Orbit’s service.
“We’ve been in Regent House now for about 8 months. We were based in central Manchester for about 6 years which was great, but work life balance was not where it needed to be. Moving into Stockport was a no-brainer for us.
“Orbit are very good at making sure they promote their customers and promote them well. I think the business hub is a great idea when you need some thinking space and the meeting room is there for us to use as part of the service.
“First impressions are very important and my first impression of the reception downstairs was ‘wow’. To have that first impression that looks smart reflects the fact that we are a good quality, professional business”.
In January 2017, Travelodge will also be opening at Regent House providing visitors to Stockport with excellent, centrally based accommodation, something that has been lacking in the town for many years,
