The North West Construction Hub (NWCH) have announced that their new Low Value Construction Framework for public sector projects up to £3m is now live.
Successful companies include Eric Wright Construction who were selected by Muse Developments as Design and Build contractor for the Stockport Exchange Regeneration Project, Phase 2. Stockport Exchange creates a new gateway to the town centre providing high-quality public realm, Grade A office space and new amenities.
Constructor partners were selected through a rigorous and competitive ITT (Invitation To Tender) process, backed by Manchester City Council, where they were required to demonstrate their ability to deliver high quality, value for money public sector projects that have a real impact on the quality of life of local communities, who will benefit long term from future construction projects across the North West.
The number of firms securing places has dropped from 11 to nine with Conlon Construction, Engie, Kier and Harry Fairclough successfully retaining their places.
Newcomers for the four-year pipeline of works include: Eric Wright, John Turner Construction, Manchester and Cheshire Construction Co, Styles and Wood and Warden Construction.
The framework is one of three run by the NWCH, which since 2009 have together delivered 380 projects worth £1.95bn for just over 100 clients.
The successful Contractors are:
Conlon Construction
Engie Regeneration
Eric Wright
Harry Fairclough
John Turner Construction
