New Sports Concept opens at John Lewis Cheadle

A new Sports Concept has opened at John Lewis Cheadle today (26th August), bringing together sportswear, footwear, wearable technology, recovery, AI-powered fitness and expert services in one destination.

Opening in the store’s basement, the new Sports and Wellbeing concept is part of the retailer’s vision is to position itself as a dynamic and inclusive sports environment that inspires and empowers every individual through the joy of sports and wellness. The space will offer a curated selection of premium and sought-after brands like Nike, Oura, and Therabody, with the ultimate ambition to live well and live better. There will also be expert gait analysis for customer to try out the latest footwear while running.

Rather than separating products into traditional retail categories, the departments are arranged around activities, helping customers find everything they need for their fitness journey in one place:

• Premium Style: Discover stylish kit for the sports you love most from the likes of J.Lindeberg, Castore, and Speedo.

The new Sports Concept at John Lewis Cheadle is part of an £800 million investment in the retailers’ stores, and is one of just four stores, alongside Oxford Street, Liverpool, and Glasgow, to benefit from the new concept.
