Merseyway shopping centre in Stockport attracted 8.14m visitors between January and October compared with 7.54m in the same period of 2011, an increase of 7.9 per cent.
Mark Rawstron, senior director of property agents GVA and managing agent of Merseyway, said: “The outlook for Merseyway continues to strengthen with more retailers being attracted and retained, and footfall figures continuing to rise.
