Local employers are being invited to join Stockport College in supporting their Partnerships in Excellence awards, and helping shine a spotlight on the work happening across apprenticeships, skills programmes and employer partnerships in the borough.
The Trafford & Stockport College Group Partnerships in Excellence Apprenticeships & Skills Awards will take place on Thursday 21st May from 6pm at Manchester’s People’s History Museum. The awards recognise individuals, teams or organisations for the impact they are making in supporting young people to start their careers.
Nominations for the awards are open until Friday 27th March. If you or your business has: Hosted a Trafford & Stockport College Group apprentice; supported work experience or industry placements; or worked in partnership with the college, consider nominating your apprentice, colleague or organisation to celebrate the impact they are making via this online form.
Nominating only takes a few minutes, but it helps the college and wider business community in Stockport to highlight the work happening across apprenticeships, skills programmes and employer-education partnerships.
Additionally, Stockport businesses are also being invited to sponsor the awards. Sponsoring part of the evening is a great way to:
- Showcase your organisation’s commitment to skills and workforce development
- Raise brand visibility with employers, civic leaders and partners across the region
- Celebrate the achievements of apprentices and learners entering industry
- Position your organisation as a champion of future talent
Sponsorship opportunities range from £100 – £600 and include options such as category award sponsorship, hospitality sponsorship, entertainment sponsorship and photobooth sponsorship. Each offers brand visibility during the event and complimentary tickets.
