Founders, organisers and main sponsors CN Chartered Accountants are inviting local businesses to join them for the official launch event for the 2026 Stockport Business Awards.
This year’s launch will take place at Stockroom, Stockport town centre’s new cultural and community hub in the Merseyway Shopping Centre, on Thursday 26th March from 6pm to 8pm. The event will reveal this year’s charity partner for the awards, as well as the categories for the 2026 awards.
It’s an ideal event for businesses entering the awards for the first time, offering insight into the categories, the entry process, and what judges will be looking for. The launch event also provides an excellent opportunity to network with fellow professionals from across Stockport’s thriving business community.
Highlights of the evening will include:
- Welcome drinks, light bites, and networking
- Meet the 2026 headline and category sponsors (Sponsorship opportunities available – Learn more here)
- Presentation on the 2026 awards programme and entry process, including a Q&A session
- Announcement of the 2026 award categories
- Reveal of the 2026 charity partner (Applications closed 13th March)
- Details of the ceremony venue for the celebration evening on 8 October and information on how to secure tickets
Guests will also have the chance to meet the founders and organisers of the 2026 Stockport Business Awards and ask any questions about this year’s event.
Andrew Baggott, Founding Partner of CN Chartered Accountants, commented:
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to this year’s launch event — and hopefully meeting plenty of new faces too. As we enter the 15th year of the awards, it’s fantastic to see how the event continues to grow, with support from the Stockport business community stronger than ever.”
