
Businesses considering employee ownership trusts (EOT) as part of their succession planning are invited to join IN Accountancy to explore the realities of living with an EOT.
The tax advisory event, Life After Transition: Living With An Employee Ownership Trust will take place on Thursday 13th November from 8.30am at the boutique firm’s offices at Rhino Court, Hazel Grove.
In Accountancy Tax Director, Paul Brown, will be joined by John Shinnick, Strategic Advisor and owner of Shinnick LLP and Tim Frankland, Managing Director at Claremont for a real world look at the day to day realities of operating under an EOT structure, including leadership dynamics, cultural shifts and governance. The event will include:

- Insights from an experienced EOT trustee on the much misunderstood role of the trustee
- Insights from a senior executive within an EOT owned business on running a business in an EOT environment
- Tax traps post transition and how to avoid them
