Stockport-based Gorvins Solicitors has reached a landmark milestone, advising on commercial property transactions with a combined value in excess of one quarter of a billion pounds.
The achievement, calculated throughout 2025, covers all asset classes and predominantly comprises properties both locally in the North West of England as well as nationally.
Including acquisitions, disposals, lettings, and development projects, the total comfortably exceeds that of any previous year.
With a notable proportion generated from new clients, the firm believes the boost can be attributed to a number of factors, including the growth of the commercial property team, collaborations, trajectory of interest rates and inflation creating some predictability in the economy.
Claire Beaumont, partner and head of commercial property, at Gorvins Solicitors, said:
“Facilitating £267m is something I am incredibly proud of, especially for a team of our size.
“At times we’ve had to find practical solutions to keep transactions moving, but the team has demonstrated unwavering perseverance to deliver.”
A Legal 500 practice, Gorvins is ranked amongst the best in the UK for Commercial Property services, with the team ranking in tier 1 and partners Claire Beaumont, Amanda Porter and Paul Dowdall recognised as ‘Leading Lawyers’ in its latest findings, released in October 2025.
Gorvins Solicitors is a growing full-service law firm based in Stockport with 20 partners and more than 80 employees.
