Businesses in Stockport are invited to join the borough’s Future Ready Business Network for its next breakfast event and discuss how employee engagement can support sustainability goals.
Formerly the Climate Action Business Forum, the One Stockport Future Ready Business Network brings together organisations interested in building smarter, stronger and greener workplaces.
As workforce expectations evolve, businesses are increasingly recognising the importance of purpose, employee voice and workplace culture. This session will explore how engaging employees in sustainability and climate action can help organisations improve everyday practices, strengthen culture, support retention and build resilience.
Taking place at Stockroom at 8.30am on Thursday, 25th June, the morning will feature:
- Breakfast networking
- Keynote speaker Phil Korbel, exploring how Carbon Literacy can help organisations raise awareness, inspire action and embed climate-conscious thinking into everyday work.
- Interactive workshop delivered by the GM Business Growth Hub Workforce Development Team, focusing on practical approaches to staff engagement
- Local business panel discussion and shared discussion opportunities
The One Stockport Future Ready Business Network event is free to attend, and places can be booked via Eventbrite.
