Following an in-depth analysis of the existing website and longer-term business strategy, Stockport health and safety consultant, advisor and training expert Michelle Hay has launched a new website.
Designed and built by Stockport-based website agency Instilled, the new website adopts a more performance-orientated theme using WordPress’s native block editor enabling efficient administration and an enhanced visitor experience.

Featuring a fresh look, user-friendly navigation, and informative content, visitors can easily access and explore the extensive onsite and online training courses offered by Michelle to business owners across the northwest and beyond. Subjects include Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Food Safety, and Consultancy.
Michelle explained the reason behind the revamp:
“I created the website back in 2013 to launch my new business. Both the digital arena and my business have developed enormously over the years. How websites look, feel and act has transformed the way websites are used while the development of my own skills and business offering has expanded the services that I am able to deliver for my clients.
“As part of planned business development, I felt a fresh look would help to get my message across that I am here to help and support businesses develop and maintain safe and healthy workplaces in a number of areas.
“Working with Sue and Inness at Instilled has been a delight. Both have been very patient as I navigated through existing content and updated the various topics that I cover. I also had help from Laura Thomas Marketing who really gave polish to the text and content across the site.
“My business has changed and developed significantly over the past 11 years and now I am thrilled to say that my website really reflects who I am.”
Sue Fernandes, Website Developer at Instilled said:
“We have a long standing working relationship with Michelle, we understand the considerable knowledge and expertise she brings which makes highlighting the benefits of her services that much easier. It’s great to see the business grow and develop.“
2025 will see the launch of Michelle Hay Training delivering RQF-Ofqual ‘open training courses’ for the first time under her own brand. Now an Approved Centre for Highfield ABC, these courses are aimed at delivering training to businesses that would benefit from one or two members of their team getting the relevant qualifications, delivered via an in-person training course, but don’t have the requirement for a full bespoke training course for their business. The Stockport-based courses are open for booking on the new website.
Michelle concluded:
“For many business sectors, having formally qualified people is essential to demonstrate compliance to their peers, suppliers and customers. My style of training is inclusive and interactive. I put a lot of effort into making the learning fun too. This makes it a pleasure for me too, not just the learners. I’m really excited to develop this side of my business.
Course subjects vary from Managing Health and Safety to Supervising Food Safety, Control of Hazardous Substances, Working Safely and are suitable for many industry sectors.”
