Stockport County has confirmed the stadium developments set to take place at Edgeley Park that will complete ahead of the start of the 2026/27 football season.
Planned developments include the expansion of safe standing areas within the Popside, installation of a new home dugout, and construction of the new TV gantry.

Expansion follows positive feedback from supporters, and will provide more fans the opportunity to enjoy matches while maintaining safety standards.

A new TV gantry will further enhance broadcast capabilities at the stadium, and support improve match coverage and production standards to ensure Stockport County continues to be equipped meet evolving requirements of modern football broadcasting.
These latest developments represent the latest step forward in the club’s ongoing programme of investment across Edgeley Park. The works form part of the club’s continued commitment to improving both the supporter and broadcast experience, while ensuring the stadium continues to evolve alongside the club’s ambitions on and off the pitch.
Supporters affected by the safe standing and dugout changes will be contacted directly by the club with further information regarding their seats and any available options ahead of the new season.
