Following a final phase of refurbishment works, Bridge Properties has confirmed Eden Point is now fully let after securing two deals totalling nearly 9,000 sq ft.
Capelli Sports has taken 5,608 sq ft on a 10-year lease whilst footwear company, Skechers, will relocate from Wilmslow, where it was based for the last 10 years, to a newly refurbished suite extending to 3,954 sq ft on the second floor. Skechers has also signed a 10-year lease and will use the space predominantly as an office as well as a showroom to showcase its new product lines.
Tristan Batt Director of Sales at Cappelli Sports said:
“We were looking for a space that would have some of the DNA of our Manhattan showroom, that would deliver a visual impact when you come to visit us. Secondly, we wanted somewhere that people would want to come to work to and the facilities are great in this building.”
The 32,000 sq ft high quality office scheme, which occupies a prominent position on the A34 between Wilmslow and the M60 orbital motorway, has attracted a number of other tenants over the last 12 months including SKN Spa; Symphony Textiles; Cutts and Co; Content Chemistry; Overtec and AMG Financial.
Speaking about the recent deals, James Dickinson, director at Canning O’Neill, joint agents for the scheme with Williams Sillitoe, commented:
“From sports and financial to medical and technology, Eden Point has successfully attracted a myriad of highly successful organisations who see the value in being based here.”
Paul McCann of Bridge Properties continued:
“We are hugely proud to have fully let Eden Point; we acquired the building at the end of 2017 and set about creating a destination where businesses could flourish in attractive well designed office space which we felt was lacking outside of the City Centre. On the back of this success we have invested heavily in a new exciting development called Element in Birchwood and will be launching this market leading product in the following weeks.”
