The UK’s most established Car Finance Broker, DSG Financial Services Ltd, has chosen the Together Trust as their charity partner.
Based in Stockport, the broker has announced the partnership to help disadvantaged young people in the local area after their recent premises move to Cheadle Hulme.
The Together Trust, also based in Cheadle, offers care, support and special education to over 2,300 young people and adults in the North West each year.
The charity believes that everyone deserves an equal chance in life and through supporting people with behavioural problems, learning difficulties, physical disabilities and autism spectrum conditions they help to achieve just that.
This is the first charity partnership of its kind for DSG Financial Services Ltd, which started last month when the company donated a proportion of sales to the Together Trust during October and November.
Amongst a variety of fundraising office activities, they have also been eagerly donating food and gifts to the charity’s #EqualChristmasForAll hamper appeal. This will help to make up hampers which will be delivered to Together Trust care leavers and disadvantaged families in the run up to Christmas.
Richard Hoggart, Managing Director of DSG Financial Services Ltd said, “We are pleased to announce that we have generated a total of £4,000 for the charity so far and are striving to bring this total to £15,000 by the end of 2016.
“We have seen a great response from the DSG family in getting involved with the Together Trust. This has brought a new level of team work to the company and it is all for the cause of giving everyone an equal chance in life”.
By working with local and regional businesses, the Together Trust can build partnerships which not only help young people but can also assist in supporting an organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility and employee engagement.
Jen Sweeney, Senior Fundraiser for the Together Trust said, “We welcome a wide range of corporate partnerships which can be mutually beneficial to help both the young people and adults in our care and support the corporate social responsibility of an organisation.
“Partnership projects can include corporate volunteering, pro-bono work and donations to our services along with fundraising.”
