Hazel Grove-based HR consultancy Cornerstone Resources has expanded its services to include professional workplace mediation, giving Stockport businesses a local option for resolving workplace disputes confidentially and constructively.
The consultancy already supports employers across the region with outsourced HR, leadership training and employment law guidance. Workplace mediation is now available as a standalone service, delivered by Cornerstone’s TCM-accredited mediator Andrea Ferguson, in-person or remotely.
The confidential mediation support service is aimed at businesses dealing with relationship breakdowns, communication failures or unresolved tensions between colleagues or managers, situations where a formal grievance process may not be the most appropriate first step.
The process is voluntary and confidential. A mediator meets with each party separately before bringing them together in a structured joint session, with the aim of reaching a practical agreement both people own and can commit to.
For organisations that need it, Cornerstone also offers practical training for managers on handling workplace investigations and disciplinaries, with the next open session running on 9 July 2026.
