Stockport-based based CN Chartered Accountants welcomed business owners from across the region at the debut of the firm’s new networking initiative, Torque Business.
The event took place on the 7th May and was delivered in collaboration with Porsche Centre Stockport and Vulpix, specialists in premium car detailing. Organisers aimed to move away from traditional networking formats by encouraging new relationships to form over a shared interest in the cars on show.

Over 30 business leaders attended the event, enjoying a showcase of high-performance and luxury vehicles – including the latest Porsche models. Guests were also invited to test their skills on an F1 simulator, while enjoying artisan pizzas and refreshments throughout the evening.
Gareth Jones, Partner at CN, commented:
“Torque Business was created to break the mould of traditional networking events. We wanted to offer something more dynamic and engaging — a place where business conversations happen naturally in a setting that inspires. We’re delighted with the turnout and to see so many of the region’s business leaders in attendance.”
A spokesperson from Porsche Stockport added:
“We’re thrilled to be part of the launch of Torque Business. It’s a fresh, exciting way to connect with professionals and entrepreneurs, and it’s great to see so much enthusiasm for both the cars and the concept.”
