Cheadle technology group acquires IoT specialist

Cheadle Royal-based technology group, Pantek, has announced the acquisition of Adey Electronics, a Nottinghamshire-based specialist in industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and connectivity products.

The deal will strengthen’s Pantek Group’s connectivity capabilities, enhancing its ability to support customers with end-to-end industrial technology solutions. Adey Electronics existing customers will also gain access to wider group resources and technical collaboration across automation and software from other Pantek Group companies.

Following the acquisition, Adey Electronics will continue to operate under its existing brand, while working more closely with other companies within the Pantek Group. The move has been welcomed by the Adey team: Lewis Harvey, Head of Technical and Commercial Services at Adey Electronics, said:
