Seashell Trust operate a special school, specialist college, 17 four-bedroom residential homes and a host of sport camps and training programs for families all from their 30-acre campus in Cheadle Hulme.
Over 500 Stockport residents benefit directly from Seashell’s services, including 150 children and young people who are educated and live at Seashell Trust, which has been based in Stockport since the 1950’s.
Relationships Director of Seashell Trust, Dominic Tinner, commented:
“As a charity that has had its home in Stockport for over 60 years, Seashell is thrilled to have been chosen as the charity partner for this year’s Stockport Business Awards. As we look forward to our Bicentenary in 2023, our association with the awards will help to raise local businesses’ knowledge of our valuable work with children and young people with the most complex needs and their families not only in Stockport but across the country.”
The Stockport Business Awards team is now appealing to businesses within the borough to once again donate a prize for the charity raffle on the evening. Fundraising at last year’s event including through the raffle and other donates saw over £3000 raised for the Stockport NHS Charity and Smart Works GM.
This year’s entries are open from Friday 25th March 2022, following a launch event at Clarke Nicklin’s Cheadle Hulme offices taking place this evening (24th March).
