The Stockport business community came together last week for the official 2026 Stockport Business Awards launch evening, at Stockroom, which revealed this year’s Charity Partner and a new venue for the ceremony 8th October.
Hosted by Stockport Business Awards founders and organisers, CN Chartered Accountants, the launch event on the evening of Thursday 25th March welcomed a diverse mix of businesses and business leaders for an evening of networking and collaboration, as well as key announcements for the 2026 awards, which will take place on Thursday 8th October 2026 on the 2nd floor of Royal Nawaab Pyramid, Stockport.
A key highlight of the evening was the introduction of this year’s chosen charity partner, Signpost for Carers, whose essential work supporting local carers brought a deeply meaningful dimension to the event.
The launch evening also confirmed this year’s awards’ sponsors, as well as category announcements. Headline sponsors are CN Chartered Accountants, Gorvins Solicitors and Robinsons Brewery . The category sponsors include: HSBC, CN Financial Planning, CN Strategic Advisors, Platform 81, Marketing Stockport, Stockport College, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council with Stockport Economic Alliance.
Former award winners also shared insights into how participation in the Stockport Business Awards has helped them gain recognition, celebrate their teams, and elevate their business profiles. Guests were encouraged to enter the 2026 awards, with the programme offering a range of categories designed to spotlight achievement, innovation, and community impact across the region.
