Stockport-based insurtech, CDL, are delighted to announce that they have been named one of the 2026 Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
Compiled by The Times and Sunday Times in partnership with employee experience specialists WorkL For Business, the list is one of the UK’s largest studies of workplace engagement. It celebrates organisations that inspire, support, and empower their people, recognising excellence in culture, wellbeing, diversity, and leadership.
What makes this milestone incredibly meaningful is that it is directly based on what their people have said, reflecting an independent view of the day-to-day experience of working at CDL. To make the list, companies must achieve a 70% overall engagement score, and CDL comfortably exceeded this across the six key themes explored:
? Reward and Recognition
? Instilling Pride
? Information Sharing
? Empowerment
? Wellbeing
? Job Satisfaction
This recognition is a positive reflection of the culture CDL has built and the environment created for colleagues to do their best work.
Emma Lord, Head of HR, said:
“This is fantastic recognition for CDL and reflects the experience our colleagues have told us they value. As we continue to grow and evolve, especially as technology and AI move at pace, it’s vital that we keep listening and keep building an environment where people feel supported, empowered and able to thrive.
“Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback, and to all our colleagues who play their part in making this one of the best places to work.”
As CDL continues to evolve, nurturing their culture and colleague experience will remain central to their success.
