From computer screens to trampolines, it was an unusual day out for representatives of the Stockport based insurance IT firm, CDL, when they made a visit to Jump Space to present the local charity with a cheque for £1,000.

Jump Space provides specialist trampolining, rebound therapy and active sensory play to children and young adults with disabilities, as well as their siblings; and also serves as a social hub for parents and carers, offering valuable respite and support. During the visit, members of CDL took a tour of the centre’s facilities and even a dip in the ball pool and bounce on the trampolines.
CDL Group Director, Melissa Johnson commented:
“It was fantastic to learn more about the charity’s role in providing a safe and inclusive environment in which fun, alternative forms of physical recreation can occur. It’s clearly a very important place for many families, and we’re delighted to be able to support the good work going on.”
The donation was made with the Insurance Institute of Manchester as Jump Space is one of the President’s nominated charities for the year. CDL is also sole sponsor of the Manchester CII CPD events, which support the continuing professional development within the insurance industry.
Fintan Griffin ACII Chartered Insurer, President of the Insurance Institute of Manchester commented:
“It is great to see CDL supporting this local charity, which is just on the company’s doorstep. CDL have a fantastic track record of supporting Stockport-based charities, and I am delighted that I was able to introduce them to Jump Space.
“This donation will greatly assist Jump Space with their plans to expand and provide even more assistance to the children and young people that they support.”
