Stockport-based C&C Insurance Brokers have once again taken their place as back-of-shirt sponsor for Lancashire Cricket Club.
The C&C team joined players, coaches, staff and fellow Club Partners for the official team photography day at Emirates Old Trafford and the unveiling of the new kits for the 2026 season.
The men’s County Championship strip brings a sharp, modern look with dark red accents, while the T20 and Red Rose kits lean into a retro feel that will no doubt be a hit with supporters: classic Lancashire, with a fresh edge.
As back-of-shirt sponsor for the men’s County Championship kit, the C&C team were especially pleased with how their branding looks – bold, clean and right at home on the famous Red Rose.
The event itself had a real buzz, with a strong turnout from partners, alongside BBC News and other media. Proceedings were expertly hosted by former Lancashire and England wicketkeeper Warren Hegg, who led a panel featuring:
- Ellie Threlkeld (Women’s Captain)
- Keaton Jennings (Men’s T20 Captain)
- Daniel Gidney (CEO)
- Mark Chilton (Director of Cricket)
- Chris Read (Women’s Head Coach)
- Steve Croft (Men’s First Team Head Coach)
The message from the panel was clear: standards are high, expectations are higher, and there’s a real sense of momentum building at the Club. With the new, state-of-the-art Farington training facility coming online, the focus is firmly on creating what was described as an “excuse-free environment” – a phrase that says everything about the ambition behind the scenes.
C&C Insurance Brokers MD, Malcolm Cooke, commented:
“Our association with Lancs is the longest-running of all our commercial partnerships, and we can’t wait for the season to get underway. The Club has a fantastic business model – probably the best in the Championship – and we’re proud to have been part of that journey over the years. See you at the Jimmy Anderson End!”
