The Stockport County Supporters Co-operative have announced that the Stockport based health insurance brokers, C&C Healthcare will be headline sponsors for this year’s Hatters Half Marathon.
The event will take place for the sixth time on 5th September, with entries for participants now open. The route starts at the home of Stockport County AFC and hits the streets of Edgeley, before joining the Trans Pennine Trail at Woolpack Bridge. The race follows a picturesque route along the River Mersey, before forming a loop at Northenden and returning to the finish at Alexandra Park.
While the event could not take place last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic placing restrictions on mass participation sporting events, this year’s race will take place with a number of precautions in place to keep runners safe. Measures include a staggered start and limited spectator numbers.
To take part in this year’s Hatters Half Marathon, visit the race’s website. Prices are £20 for affiliated and £22 for non-affiliated runners and this includes a fantastic race medal and goodie bag. The event will be chipped timed by Crazy Legs Events.
Headline sponsors C&C Healthcare specialise in protecting the health and wellbeing of individuals seeking their own protection and companies looking to cover valued employees through a range of insurance products.
