Growth and expansion continue apace at C&C Insurance Brokers, as Paul Fielding joins to head up the Stockport-based firm’s Sports Division.
Paul takes up the newly created role of Sports Division Director and follows hot on the heels of Jack Sands’ appointment in February, to work with C&C’s increasing roster of professional sports clients. The pair have previously worked together at Lift Insurance, the firm set up by Paul in 2012, specialising in high net worth household, motor, property, jewellery, and career ending injury insurance for both sports professionals and high net worth non-sports individuals.
Paul’s credentials run high in this difficult to access niche sector, having also set up the Sports Division at CBG Group in 2006, overseeing the growth of clients across a whole range of sports professionals, with a particular emphasis on footballers.
Malcolm Cooke, MD of C&C Insurance Brokers said:
“We’re thrilled that Paul is joining us to head up this exciting new division at C&C. Everything about his approach and reputation reflects the ethos we hold in high regard here: by applying knowledge, experience and tenacity we get the best outcome for clients; and in so doing, build personal relationships built on trust and integrity. Peace of mind must be absolute for our clients, and this understanding is woven into Paul’s DNA. He’s enthusiastic, creative, and brings an energy that’s brilliant to have in our team.”
Paul Fielding commented:
“Joining C&C is a fantastic opportunity for both of us to build on what I’ve already achieved within this sector. Coupling my experience and understanding of the world of professional sports people with C&C’s stature and buying power within the industry, is quite a proposition for existing and potential clients. Our plans are ambitious and we’re motivated to make a difference for our clients. And I can’t wait to start delivering on both.”
These latest appointments continue the trend in what has been a busy three months for C&C. Regional presence in the Leeds, Chester, Scotland, and Midlands offices has been bolstered, as has the Real Estate division, which is enjoying unprecedented levels of enquiries. This brings the headcount increase for 2024 to 10. Impressive for a company of 150 at the start of the year.
And whilst Paul and Jack are working with individual sports professionals, C&C is no stranger to the sporting world. The broker has very close long-standing relationships with Sale Sharks RUFC, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Stockport County FC and Manchester Thunder, both as sponsors and clients.
