Two Robinsons pub partners have been recognised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) and awarded for their outstanding contributions.
Jamie, Goska, and their team at The Crown in Heaton Mersey have been awarded ‘Pub of the Year 2025’ by CAMRA’s Stockport and South Manchester branch. The accolade is the first time in several years that a local family brewer pub has received the award and is a testament to the hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to providing top-quality service and a fantastic range of beers for the community.
Elsewhere in the North West, the Black Horse in Preston has reached the finals of the CAMRA ‘Pub of the Year 2024’ competition. While they may not have claimed the national title, Dan and his team have also been awarded the prestigious regional title of Central Lancashire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2025. The Black Horse has now earned the regional award for three consecutive years, a remarkable achievement.
In a blog post on the Robinsons Brewery website, the family-run brewers shared their congratulations to pub partners for their award wins, commenting:
“A huge congratulations to our Pub Partners!
“Both The Crown and the Black Horse have truly shown what makes Robinsons pubs so special. These awards are a direct reflection of the dedication and passion of the teams behind them. We couldn’t be prouder of our Pub Partners, and we can’t wait to see what 2025 holds for our other pubs.
“Here’s to more CAMRA awards, more fantastic pints, and more incredible memories at Robinsons pubs! Cheers to the teams at The Crown and the Black Horse – we’re raising a glass to you!“
