Housebuilder, Bellway Homes has reopened the sales offices of its development across the North-west following easing of government restrictions on the sector.
In Greater Manchester, Bellway Homes has re-opened the sales offices and show homes at The Old Dairy on Broadway in Hyde (pictured). Cheshire developments, including King’s Quarter in Macclesfield, and Heatherley Wood near Alderley Edge, have also reopened.
Visits to site are strictly by appointment only and a new set of policies and procedures are in place to protect potential purchasers, employees and tradespeople, including the installation of new screens, the wearing of face masks and gloves, regular hand washing and the use of anti-bacterial hand gel on arrival and departure.
There will also be limits on the number of people allowed into the sales office and show homes at any one time with all visitors asked to maintain a clear two metre social distance. Signage has been updated to clearly communicate the new policies and the sales teams have undertaken detailed training to ensure everything is understood and can be implemented at a local level.
Sales manager Lynne Duxbury commented:
We are delighted to be back on site at many of our developments and look forward to welcoming the many homebuyers who have been in touch with us virtually and over the phone while we have been closed. At the moment, we are operating an appointment only system with only one client or family at a time. An incredible amount of preparation has gone into ensuring all developments meet Government guidelines for safe reopening and we are confident that this will soon become an easy new way of working.”
