Quizzers at Azets annual quiz night at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park ground raised more than £3,000 for the Together Trust.
The annual event, organised by the accountancy and business advisory firm’s Stockport office, this year welcomed 130 guests across 33 teams.
This year’s Azets Quiz Night raised funds for Stockport charity, Together Trust. First founded in 1870, the charity today delivers individual care, support and education services across the North West for children who have been in care as well as those with disabilities, autism and mental health issues.
After teams put their grey matter to the test, the final amount raised through ticket sales and a raffle was £3,396. The Azets BRI team took home the trophy for the second year running.
Nicola Mannarn, Azets’ office manager in Stockport, said:
“A big thank you to all our clients and intermediaries who made the quiz such a success.
“The Together Trust does such wonderful work everyone was keen to help raise as much money as possible.
“I have visited the charity and seen first-hand what they do.
“The money raised will help fund training opportunities for students and young people in residential services, supporting them on their journey into employment.
“We had some wonderful prizes donated including matchday tickets from Stockport County, a Ninja air fryer from High Peak Comps and a coffee voucher from Funky Monkey.”
