The Together Trust’s Ashcroft School has unveiled a new annex to their existing building in Cheadle, Stockport.
The extension, which houses four new rooms including a music, drama, humanities and medical room, has been built thanks to the generous support of individuals and businesses.
The school provides specialist education to young people aged 5 to 18 years who have struggled to cope in other settings because of their individual barriers to learning or complex emotional needs including ADHD, ASC and brain injuries.
Along with specialist education, the Together Trust provides residential care, community services and fostering to over 2,300 young people and families in the North West each year.
The new Wilkinson Annex has been supported by a wide range of individuals and businesses.
Eileen Sheerin, Head Teacher at Ashcroft School, said, “We pride ourselves in working with each student offering them a bespoke education package that really does meet their emotional, social and educational needs.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made the building of the extension possible. It will make a huge difference to the education of our pupils.”
