Anglian Home Improvements has relocated its northern headquarters from Norwich to the newly developed Aurora Business Park in Stockport.
The company has taken a 15,000 sq ft unit which becomes the regional hub for the northern part of the UK, covering all areas from Stoke to Scotland, as well as the centre for its national operations.
Aurora Business Park Stockport, Stockport’s newest industrial park next to the M60, has completed deals on over 100,000 sq ft of premium industrial space as it reaches practical completion.
Anglian joins CAF Rail, Aeroco and Baumuller at Aurora Stockport, with each company choosing to make the industrial park the base from which they plan to grow their businesses over the coming years.
The popularity of Aurora Stockport has been evident from day one. Demand for the space has been so high that only four of the units on the industrial park are still available, with advance negotiations underway on two of these.
Jaffer Jamroz, Chief Operating Officer at Anglian Home Improvements, said the company has enjoyed a period of growth increasing its Northern workforce by more than 100 and revenues by 25% in 2017.
“Anglian is committed to building on its presence in the north; and, after several years of growth within the region, it was clear the time was right to invest in a bigger, strategically-located hub of the quality which befits a leading home improvement firm.”
The company have been focusing on recruitment to build their regional team which will be able to respond to higher demand within the home improvement sector.
Mr Jamroz added that the company is continuing to recruit and has openings to suit a range of skills, bringing more jobs to the local area.
