Mastercall Healthcare (formerly known as the Stockport Doctors’ Co-operative) was established in 1996 and provides services to the National Health Service (NHS).
We are proud to be a social enterprise which means we operate primarily to make a difference to society and/ or the environment rather than personal profits for owners and shareholders. We are also a Silver Champion Investor in People and are Daisy Dignity in Care accredited.
As a not-for-profit organisation we do not have owners or shareholders and we do not pay dividends to directors. As a Company Limited by Guarantee, we are accountable to our Members and the Membership is made up of the GPs for whose patients we provide care to, our staff and our patients.
The services we provide offer an alternative to a hospital admission by providing care in the community, and support earlier discharge from hospital, where clinically safe and appropriate, than otherwise would have been possible.
