One of the North West’s specialist law firms is planning to expand after securing support from Yorkshire Bank.
Established in 2003, Knutsford-based law firm Aegis Legal Limited is a new customer to the Bank and has received a funding package from Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Manchester. The deal was made by Business Development Manager, Mike Ricketts.
Aidan Wilcox, Managing Director at Aegis Legal Limited, said:
“With the economy now on the road to recovery we are confident the business is well placed to enjoy a period of growth.
“Through a period of targeted investment we aim to expand our footprint, increase turnover, and create new jobs.
“As a new customer we welcome the support of Yorkshire Bank which has taken the time to understand the way we work and has helped us to start working towards realising our long term ambitions.”
Aegis Legal Limited predominantly employs accredited and specialist qualified solicitors and the latest round of funding will allow the company to develop its existing services, increase headcount, and grow further.
Sean Williams, Head of Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Manchester said:
“Aegis Legal Limited is another welcome addition to our existing portfolio – we are confident that our expertise will help Aidan and his team to continue to grow the business.
“Yorkshire Bank remains focused on investing in the growth ambitions of the local business community and we look forward to developing our relationship in the years ahead.”
