
PORT by Stockport playwright Simon Stephens will reveal all! Port takes place next week at 7.30pm on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd November at The Forum Theatre, Romiley.
Stockport 1988-2002: Rachel Keats is growing up in town she doesn’t like. Abandoned by her mother, her family life is torn to tatters as she is left to bring up her younger brother, who, increasingly is drawn to the excitement out on the streets. When her new partner starts to abuse her, and those she loves leave her behind, will she stay or will she find the strength to make her own way in the world? We have 3 fantastic comedians from the circuit and a fantastic compere to take you through the night. With open bar and disco to finish, its a great night out and tickets are priced at a bargain £18 for two people or £10 each.
JB Productions will be back at The Forum for this seasons’ pantomime “ALADDIN” whilst “SLEEPING BEAUTY” is NK’s offering this Christmas time by the Musical Theatre and Drama workshop classes which is taking place on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th December.
We are also looking ahead to 2019 and will be kicking the year off with a trip to the capital of Musical Theatre and those BROADWAY NIGHTS. We have two performances on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th January.
Our first major musical of 2019 will be the legendary Rock and Roll masterpiece GREASE playing the Forum from 27th – 30th March. Auditions for this show are taking place next Sunday 25th November with all welcome if you fancy taking part. Just email Hannah Gorst and she will send you an audition pack!
