
Marketing Stockport were appointed to handle the marketing and PR of the frog project. Together with assisting in the sourcing of the frog manufacturer, the team worked with the Stockport BID to facilitate and create the art trail, PR activity, social media and engagement with the broadcast news channels.
ITV News and BBC both ran the story and various engagement campaigns are planned throughout the 3 month project.

It’s been an amazing project to work on. It’s not very often you get chance to work on project that will have the legacy that the frogs have. The interest my the media and public has been immense and we know people are travelling from far and wide to visit Stockport and see the frogs
During these testing times for the high street finding initiatives to pull in the footfall is crucial.
We are finding the footfall rising since the launch of the frogs. Always difficult to gain that insight so soon but with the sophisticated systems in the Stockport area we are able to gauge effectivness and so far we are seeing rising numbers visiting the town centre.
