Saturday saw Stockport County win 2 – 1 against Forest Green who are currently 4th in the league. Despite an unsettled week for the club with the departure of Jim Gannon, the team stepped up and took the club to victory with goals from Jon Nolan and Sean Newton.
The ground was alive with passion and support for the team who, despite the freezing temperatures, took County to thier first home win since November.
Marketing Stockport and representatives from Amshire Solutions, Hallidays, Souter PR and Fairhurst Estates attended the game.
It was the first time Marketing Stockport have sampled the corporate hospitality at Stockport County and the staff made it a memorable and fantastic day. The food was excellent and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. There’s a lot of opportunity for local businesses to get involved with the club from adverts in the match day programme, player sponsorship to corporate hospitality.
John Thornley, Managing Director of Fairhurst Estates:
“We would like to thank all at Stockport County especially Rob Clare for their kind hospitality on Saturday. It is great that we inspired the lads to a thoroughly deserved win, good luck for the rest of the season. We will continue to support the team in any way we can as a business community.”
Marketing Stockport are keen to see local businesses supporting each other; if you are looking to take clients or staff to a sporting event, we recommend that you speak to Rob Clare, Commercial Manager at Stockport County to discuss the wide range of options available. Rob and the hospitality team will ensure your day will be memorable and entertaining.
