Wayne Jones, who earlier this month was presented with a Special Recognition Award at the Stockport Business Awards, is putting his best foot forward to raise funds for Heaton School.
Wayne Jones, Senior Vice-President at MAN Diesel and Turbo SE, is embarking on a challenging 4 day Charity Walk to raise money for the Heaton School, a special school based in Heaton Moor for pupils aged 11–19 years who have severe or profound learning disabilities.

The challenge begins on Monday October 21st and
ends on Thursday October 24th, during that time Wayne
will cover over 100 miles!
Money raised will help the school to convert a piece of
land into a working garden and allotment where pupils
can learn new skills. The garden is also a Memorial for
children who have sadly died whilst studying at the
school.
