Walthew House are staging a ‘Stay at Home Day’

Date: Saturday 8th December

Could you spend a day indoors without your phone or Facebook?

Many people with sight or hearing loss often feel very isolated. Walthew House are challenging you to get taste of what it’s like and spend Saturday 8th December indoors, without communicating with the outside world until sunset. No visitors, phone calls, emailing or messaging anyone at all. In doing so you’ll be helping Walthew House continue to prevent people in Stockport with sight and hearing loss from feeling isolated and lonely. The following morning there’ll be an optional stroll in Vernon Park to say hello to the outside world again! There’s no registration fee, all we ask is that you raise at least £20.
