Virgin Fast Track 100 firm appoints Stockport leasing company

One of the fastest-growing private firms and a Virgin Fast Track 100 company has appointed Stockport-based leasing provider Vehicle Consulting to care for its van fleet.

Lundy Projects, an engineering design and manufacturing company established in 1976, now specialises in the rail industry and has an impressive portfolio including major Thames Link and West Coast projects.

Growing at a significant and sustained rate, Lundy Projects entered the Greater Manchester Fastest 50 in mid-2016 and made it into the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 table later in the year.

“Having previously relied on short-term vehicle rental solutions, we identified the benefits of switching to leasing when the time came to expand our van fleet. Lundy Projects’ new fleet comprises twenty Volkswagen Caddy Maxi C20 vans and Vehicle Consulting managed custom conversion work along with the branding of the vans in the company’s livery.

Vehicle Consulting currently employs seventeen staff at its headquarters on Stockport’s Acorn Business Park and the New Year will see the business leasing and personal contract hire company expand its team and market share further.
