
Ahead of the reopening of non-essential retail and outdoor hospitality from 12th April, the Greater Manchester Regulatory Centre of Excellence (GMRCE) have prepared a series of videos to share advice and best practice for local businesses to reopen safely.
On 12th April, a range of businesses that had closed in line the the national lockdown that was introduced in January will be permitted to reopen once again, as laid out by the Prime Minister’s ‘roadmap’ out of restrictions. Businesses permitted to resume trading include:
- Gyms
- All retail
- Hospitality (outdoors only)
- Outdoor attractions, e.g. drive-in cinemas, zoos and theme parks
- Personal care, e.g. beauty treatments and hairdressers
To help businesses in Greater Manchester prepare to reopen safely, GMRCE have prepared a series of industry specific videos to share guidance and best practice to keep patrons and staff safe.
All videos are available to watch for free via the organisation’s YouTube channel.
The GMRCE is a partnership organisation run by Greater Manchester’s 10 local authorities as well as the Fire & Rescue Service to to provide a single point of access for business advice covering all types of regulatory compliance including food safety, health & safety, trading standards and fire safety.
