Vernon Building Society has commemorated its 90th anniversary with a fantastic cake of their Head Office in Stockport – complete with a miniature Vernon Bear! The cake was made by Katie Lees who works in the St Petersgate Head Office.
Chief Executive of the Vernon, Mike Hanson, said:
“Katie bakes as a hobby so she was the first person we thought of to make something that all of our staff could enjoy. It was a great way to celebrate our 90th year and tasted good too!”
