Staff from Vernon Building Society continue to raise money for the Society’s Jubilee Fund which supports charity and community groups in the area and will award £10,000 to 20 groups this year.
Vernon customer adviser Daniel Rogers, a member of local indie band White Noise Box, has organised a
live performance to raise more funds the Vernon’s chosen local charities and communities.
Where? Our Lady’s Parish Hall in Edgeley
When? 21st September 2013.
It promises to be a fantastic night with live music from White Noise Box and a DJ set from special guest Phill Costello.
Tickets are available for just £5 from any branch of Vernon Building Society and all proceeds go to the Jubilee Fund.
Ian Keeling, Head of Sales and Marketing at the Vernon, said:
“We’re so pleased with the way that the team have supported the Jubilee Fund throughout the year. White Noise Box are great musicians and seasoned live performers so when Daniel suggested a live gig to benefit the Jubilee Fund we thought it was a fantastic idea!”
Staff from the St Petersgate branch will also be holding a raffle to raise money for the Jubilee Fund throughout September and October with prizes to suit everyone. Raffle tickets will be priced at just £2 for 3 with the draw being held on 1st November 2013. All prizes were kindly donated by local businesses to raise money for the Jubilee Fund, thanks to Stockport Plaza, Gary Collins Hair & Beauty, Rayhoon, Vasami, Woodson’s Cycles and Church Lane Garage.
