Vernon Building Society Announce 3 year Support for Stockport Town FC

The Vernon Building Society have pledged their support to Stockport Town FC for the next three years after committing to 3 pitch side advertising boards at the club’s home ground, Stockport Sports Village.

The Vernon Building Society, who have been part of the Stockport landscape for almost 100 years, have a long-established reputation as supporters of local initiatives. 

Following the introduction of a new partnership between Stockport County FC and Stockport Town FC, giving youngsters the playing opportunities in their Under-21s and first team squads, the Vernon knew they wanted to align with this ethos.

Ian Keeling of the Vernon said:

“We’re delighted to continue our support for a further three years. The club is extremely well run to a set of values that allows it to nurture local young talent. Stockport Town FC Chairman, Seb Rowe adds:

The Vernon’s Marketing Manager Alex Deakin visited the football ground and was impressed with the set-up.

The Vernon Building Society is a local, independent building society, based in Stockport. The Society was founded in 1924 and is the only local building society serving the Stockport and East Cheshire area.
