A new space for calmness and wellbeing, the Upward Frog Yoga Studio, is about to leap into Stockport town centre just ahead of this summer’s Stockport’s Giant Leap Forward Frog Art Trail.
Upward Frog Yoga Studio is located on the ground floor of Graylaw House on Chestergate (behind Primark) and will offer a range of yoga classes for all abilities and levels of experience. The studio will also be running courses for beginners and weekend workshops and events.
Work is going on this week to get the studio ready to welcome its first students this weekend. The studio is bright and calm with natural light, wooden floors and neutral walls – a perfect location to find a little peace and calm during your day or after work.
The studio will be running a variety of classes from early morning into the evening as well as two classes on Saturday morning.
Stockport resident Emma Gartside, Yoga Teacher and owner of Upward Frog said:
“I wanted to create a calm and welcoming space where people living and working in Stockport can come to practice yoga. It’s going to be a friendly studio and you definitely don’t need to be able to put your foot behind your head! Everyone is welcome at my studio, whether you are just interested in finding out more about yoga or if you have been practicing for some time. There will be something for everybody.”
Classes begin on a limited preview timetable from Saturday 26 January. The studio opens fully on Saturday 2 February.
