Stockport Council’s Services for Young People are offering free training sessions for Stockport’s young people in Stockport.
Youngsters who sign up for the sessions will also get a FREE Megarider ticket and a £10 voucher!
The sessions are designed to help prepare young people for adult life and the future.
Youngsters can sign up for these sessions on Tuesday 26th July between 10am and 3pm at the Council’s Services for Stockport’s Young People building located at the Stockport Exchange (next to Subway on the A6).
The training sessions will be available in the following areas:
– Getting motivated and feeling positive
– Getting ready for interviews
– Becoming more employable
– Creating a CV
– Managing your money
– Meeting training providers who provide Apprenticeships and Traineeships
Councillor Colin Foster, Stockport Council’s Executive Member Children and Family Services, said: “These training sessions are a great opportunity for our Stockport’s young people to explore available career paths and how to be better prepared for employment. I would encourage those who are interested, no matter what their experience or ability, to sign up and learn new skills.”
