Stockport’s Business Improvement District (BID) company, Totally Stockport, is hosting webinar sessions for town centre businesses to support them to reopen safely as lockdown restrictions on retailers are eased.
Totally Stockport is partnering with health and safety trainer, Michelle Hay, to run two online webinars to advise both retailers and hospitality businesses on how to reopen safely, protecting staff and customers from the risks of Covid-19.
The first webinar will take place on Thursday 11th June at 10am and will focus on non-food retailers, which are permitted to reopen to the public from 15th June.
A second session on Monday 15th June at 2pm will offer guidance specifically aimed at hospitality businesses and food and drink retailers.
Webinars will last approximately one hour, with opportunities to ask questions of Michelle, either via the session’s chat facility or attendees are welcome to submit any questions in advance.
Businesses within the BID area can reserve a place on either session by emailing info@totallystockport.co.uk, where they can also send any specific questions to be addressed during the session. Once a place has been reserved, a Zoom link will be sent via email to attend the appropriate webinar.
The BID Company has also been distributing reopening packs to local retailers as restrictions on trading have been eased, which include aids to allow customers to keep 2 metres apart, and hand sanitiser.
