Cheadle based charity, the Together Trust, has launched its new corporate web pages, in its bid to work with North West businesses and build partnerships which not only help young people but can also assist in supporting an organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility and employee engagement.
The Together Trust, which offers care, support and special education to children and adults, believes that forging partnerships with businesses is invaluable in helping them to give everyone an equal chance in life, irrespective of their circumstances, whether it be behavioral problems, learning difficulties, physical disabilities or autism spectrum conditions.
The corporate web pages are available at www.togethertrust.org.uk/fundraising/corporate-support where you can read more on why the support of businesses matters, the benefits of corporate support and examples from companies who already work with the charity.
Current supporters include Valour Finance Group, Wheatley Plastics, Brother International Europe Ltd and Convergys*.

Partnership projects can include corporate volunteering, pro-bono work and donations to our services along with fundraising. Recently the team at RSA Insurance volunteered for a group painting task at one of the Together Trust’s short break facilities while Barclays Bank are tailoring their ‘LifeSkills’ scheme to cater for young people with behavioral problems and learning difficulties.
Jen Sweeney, Senior Fundraiser for the Together Trust said:
“Through partnership work with businesses we can achieve fantastic outcomes for our young people and for businesses.
“We work closely with all of our corporate supporters and are always keen to find out what they want to achieve from working with us and aim to be mutually beneficial. This means that every partnership that the Together Trust forms is unique.”
Staff at Wheatley Plastics have raised over £7,000 in recent years for the Together Trust, the money raised has been used to upgrade a new sensory room our Ashcroft School and IT suite at the Newbridge Centre in Stockport.
Gary Knight, Managing Director, said,
“It’s easy to forget how fortunate we are to have our health and happiness with a great support network around us.
“We are proud of the partnership we have built with the Together Trust over the past three years. Even the smallest action or donation has made a massive difference to real people, Wheatley Plastics feels a sense of achievement and satisfaction knowing that we have made such a difference.”
