Tickets are now available to book for the next Climate Action Business Forum, which will bring together Stockport businesses to discuss embedding climate action in an organisation.
The event is the third in a series organised by Stockport Council’s Climate Action Now team, aiming to support Stockport based businesses on their journey to achieving net zero. The forum gives businesses in the borough the opportunity to hear how others in Stockport are working towards becoming carbon neutral and share expertise with one another.
Attendees to the next event will hear from a local Stockport business, as well as Transport for Greater Manchester, the Stockport Local Plan, about Eco Essentials training and Business Growth Hub support, before rounding off the session with a short workshop led by Jen Heil of Smith Goodfellow.
The forum is open to all businesses, and sectors, creating an opportunity for those that are interested in making a difference to share best practice and access support from external organisations in the region.
The next Climate Action Now Business Forum is free to attend for Stockport businesses, and is being held 8am to 10am on Wednesday 28th September both online, and in-person at Cornerstone, 2 Edward Street. The agenda for the morning is as follows:
