The Windsor Castle pub, situated in the heart of the walking country between Marple Bridge and Compstall, is hosting the popular Worker Bee Markets.
On the 24th August from 10am-2pm, The Windsor Castle will be hosting a fun-filled pop-up Artisan Market, where the local, friendly Worker Bee Markets will join the pub to bring you quality gifts, crafts and produce. There will be a bustling atmosphere on the day, with freshly made street food, unique homeware, tasty fresh produce and handmade goods… And best of all, you can enjoy a delicious pint while you are there!
Joanne Farrell, Licensee of the Windsor Castle, said:
“We already have some fantastic local makers and traders to join us and look forward to introducing you to some great talent with fresh bread and cheese, jewellery, cakes, plants, gifts, woodwork, homeware and hot street food. I am always looking for new ways to be involved with the local community. The Windsor Castle has brought many people together over the years and has remained the perfect hub to bring people together. I am very excited to see old and new faces on the 24th – it will be a great day with lots going on and free entry. The pop-up Artisan Market falls on a Bank Holiday Saturday, so it will be a great way to enjoy the extra-long weekend!”
The pub is widely known not just for its delicious real ale but for its charitable events within the community. From helping the homeless to hosting royal events, Robinsons Brewery’s Windsor Castle is a strong community focused pub, with long-serving licensee Joanne Farrell, who has been at the pub for over ten years, at the heart of it all.
